A Wedding for Puddletown in Dorset

Being asked to photograph another photographer’s wedding is always a daunting task but also a great credit and honor to do, especially when it is for such a wonderful couple like Daniel Rushall and his wife Marie near the picturesque Dorset village of Puddletown. Thankfully Dan was very kind to me and let me get on with the job as best I can, but I have to say there was a lot of added pressure because, being such a great photographer himself, I knew Dan would be watching me and scrutinising my photographs very closely! Happy to say we were both happy with the results from the day, we did a lovely portrait session under a nearby willow tree (a personal favourite of mine!) and near a tunnel of trees. I always believe the bride-groom portraits are the most important part of any wedding day photography session, and I hope these pictures showcase my passion for natural, intimate poses with great lighting and doing away with gimmicky ideas that distract from intent of the day… a celebration of love!
